"How to Care For Your New Vinyl Floor"

Immediately After Installation

• Using a damp sponge or mop, wipe off any logos printed on the face of the floor, being careful not to wipe across any seams.
• Because your floor needs time to thoroughly dry after installation, we recommend that you do not scrub or wash your floor for five days.

General Care Instructions

• Damp mop or vacuum regularly to remove loose dirt which can scratch your floor. When vacuuming, use a nonpowered wand attachment since a beater bar can visibly damage the floor surface.
• Wash your floor occasionally with Armstrong Once 'n Done No-Rinse Floor Cleaner. For very dirty floors, use Armstrong New Beginning Extra Strength Cleaner.
• Do not use soap-based detergents, abrasive cleaners, or "mop and shine" products, as these may leave a dull film on your floor. Never use highly abrasive scrubbing tools on any vinyl floor.
• Over time, the shine on your floor may dull. If this occurs, use Armstrong Shine-keeper Long-Lasting Floor Polish. Do not use paste wax or solvent-based polishes.
• Wipe up spills as soon as possible. Remove dried spills with Armstrong New Beginning Extra-Strength Cleaner on a clean white cloth.
